I own one female dog of breeding age.  The majority of what I do is lease females from other dog owners (I pay them to use her for breeding) whose dogs have the qualities that I desire for alert dogs and have all genetic clearances.   Being as active as I am in the dog world, I get the chance to see many wonderful dogs and make many awesome friends.
